British Council Activity :-( BCI)

1)    Students of std IX & X interviewed an eminent entrepreneur
Mr. Farookh Cooper, Founder of Cooper Corporation, Satara.

1)    Collaborative Activity with Koshi Secondary School, Nepal. A debate was held where Std IX students of both the schools exchanged their views on SDG Goal peace. Respected Principal Mr. D.M. Jadhav conducted the classroom debate activity

Science Exhibition organized by Newspaper Lokmat :- Our students Mst. Soham Bodhe Std-VII, Mst. Om Bhintade & Mst. Shreedhar Dhumal Std VIII  got  the consolation prize.

Math Olympiad Exam held in Dec.2019 - The following students secured Gold Medal at 1st level and were selected for 2nd level exam.

  3. In various competitions organized by Satara Hindi Adhyapak Mandal 1] one student secured 2nd position at district level in elocution.2] one student secured 3rd position at District Level in ‘Mera Shabdkosh’ competition.

At Zonal Level 5 students got prizes.

Golden Jubilee Celebration:-

  1. Bridging the Gap:- The panel discussion with successful & esteemed alumni was conducted to reconnect the past alumni with the present students. The interactive Session included the topics such as the cherishing memories of the school, tips to achieve successful career & their message for the students.
  2. Interschool Quiz: - The exciting Interschool Quiz Competition was held to enhance General Knowledge among the students. The 4 Reputed schools in Satara participated in it enthusiastically. Gurukul School bagged the winning trophy & meritorious certificates.
  3. Naivedyam:- To create an awareness among the students that they ought to respect & love elder ones as they mould us into a fine person; a visit to an Old Age Home-“Anandashram” was organized  by the school. The students served lunch to them lovingly & presented entertainment programme, to create lighter moments for them.
  4. Felicitation of women with awe- inspiring career:-

Talking a note of women who dared to choose a very unusual career, the school organized felicitation programme of Lady Bus- Conductors & school Van Drivers. On the same occasion, the counseling sessions for parents were organized, suggesting guidelines on matured parenting & serving healthy & colourful delicacies to children.

  1. Hon’ble  Principal Mr. D.M. Jadhav Sir was awarded as the outstanding Headmaster & Presented with the Nation Builder Award by Rotary International Organization on the occasion of 5th Sept. 2018 i.e. Teacher’s Day.
  2. Mrs. Gujar A. K received State Best Guider (Teacher) Award in 2019-20 in the auspicious hands of Hon’ble Education & Sports Minister Ashish Shelar. She has worked as an organizer, Technical & Official Committee member at National, State, Zonal, District level for various games. ( 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20). She has also worked as a committee member of State & Zonal Youth Programme (2018-19 & 2019-20). She also works as a resource person for Scout & Guide every year.
  3. Mrs. Sabale Jayashree Prakash Selected as the Resource Person for English subject Std. X by Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Board.
  4. Mrs. Inamdar Akila Salim received the award for handwriting competition held by Lions' Club Satara at the hands of former Governor of Sikkim & Current Member of Parliament Hon’ble Mr. Shrinivas Patil on the occasion of Children’s Day. (2018-19)
  5. Mrs. Rajput Sneha Sachinsingh awarded certificate for contribution to High School Scholarship result of student in merit list at the hands of Kondve Cluster Incharge, Mrs. Malan Gujar Madam. Established BTS Exam centers in several schools in Satara in the year 2018-19.The students are appearing for BTS- G.K. Math & English Exam. Awarded certificate by Karo Sambhav group for the work of E-Waste Management.
  6. Mrs. Somjal Shabnam Mehboob awarded the trophy & certificate for her contribution to get composite 100% result in Composite Hindi and the school secured 3rd position at District level in the year 2017-18, The school   secured 2nd position at district level in 2018-19 and the  3rd position at district level in the year 2019-20. She also worked as a Judge for the elocution competition at State Level.
  7. Mrs. Rama Namdeo Nipane was awarded with the Nation Builder Award as an Outstanding Teacher by Rotary International Organization on the occasion of 5th Sept.(2018) i. e. Teacher’s Day.

  1. Miss Tanvi Prashant Shinde (STD III) stood in the Merit List of Zonal Level Mathematics Olympiad Exam and Miss Sanskruti Santosh Mohite (STD IV) stood in the Merit List of Zonal Level Mathematics Olympiad Exam
  2. Miss Aradhya Netaji Bhosale, Miss Ritika Gangadhar Kaladagi, Miss Anshita Anup Hingmire, Master Shravan Atul Bhapkar, Master Arnav Vishal Kadam and Master Ayaush Sanjay Pawar of STD I were the Toppers of Mathematics Olympiad Exam in the Zonal Level.
  3. Miss Mugdha Prashant Kulkarni (STD IV) was qualified and appeared for second level of English Olympiad Exam.
Sports Achievements:
  1. Master Dnyanesh Rakesh Shendge stood second in the Boxing Championship at District Level.
  2. Miss Gargi Trimbak Hangekar won the trophy at Indian International Groove Fest Dance Championship at Bangkok 2019.
